- Rikki Tikki is very scared and sad
- oh no the mongoose!!
- We have to make a funeral!
- no no no lets take it in and help it
- RIkki tikki is very brave and thinking of protecting his family
- If i dont stab him in the back he can still fight back.
- You tried to kill my family !!

- In paragraph 3 and 4 It states Here's a dead mongoose. Let's have a funeral. No, said his mother, let's take him in and dry him. Perhaps he isn't really dead . In this scene I learned RTT is very scared,cold and confused because RTT was washed up on a burrow and a family found him and took him in to help him.
- In paragraph 102 it states that “ his little white teeth were clenched on her tail, and he went down with her--and very few mongooses” Rikki Tikki Tavi wanted to save and protect his family but RTT knew that only way he can protect his family is by striking first.
- In paragraph 91 it states “Then Rikki-tikki came up and cried, Turn round, Nagaina. Turn and fight! Rikki Tikki Tavi was brave enough to fight nagaina to save him family from being bit by her. This shows RTT is very caring and id a leader.RTT puts others infront of himself just to protect them.
