- Chess became like a backup. When I was frustrated, I played chess (it didn't help though), when I was bored, I played chess, and when I just wanted to do something, I played chess. I became interested in chess streams and videos and the chess community.
- I think I made the best choice.
- Yes! I found the mate!
- This year, I went to Saratoga with tech's chess team for the state championship. I became close with a lot of them and I also joined a chess program they were in. In that program, I met more competitive chess players.

- I'm grateful that chess brought to me an amazing community of wonderful people. 2020 was a bad experience, but I found something good within. Sometimes, we just have to search for the best choice, in chess and in life.
