- Denial: Blocking external events from awareness. If a situation becomes to much to handle, the person ends up refusing to experience/ accept it.
- I HATE coach he always picks on me and is always on me not anybody else.
- SUBLIMATION
- Regression: A movement back in psychological time when one is faced with some sort of stress.
- DISPLACEMENT
- Projection: Individuals attributing their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, and motives to another person.
- Sublimation: Satisfying some type of impulse with a substitute object. In a socially accepted way.
