How do The Hittites lived?

- By about 2000 B.C. they migrated right here, Anatolia. And stayed there for almost a millenium.
- The king showed social and military power.
- The Hittites used to live here, in the Steppes.
- We're ready for the war!
- I think I'll find lots of iron here! Anatolia is a huge plateau rich in minerals.
- The Hittites are known as the first ones to dominate iron metallurgy.
- Today I have lots of iron, as always. I will use half of this iron to make chariots and the other one to make tools.
- Your Majesty, I will prepare you a chariot to fight, as you asked.
- I am the king and I order you to attack Babylon. We have a pending war we have to finish. Prepare the army and ATTACK THEM!
- A combination of speed, attack and defense made the Hittites fearsome. It is said that they never lost a battle.

- They owed many of their military victories to the ironworkers. Also, they conquered Babylon and then, The Hittite Empire reached its peak.
