- Mr.White wished that his wife would always be happy. She laughed that he had chosen that and thought that that was ridiculous. His son wanted him to wish for more but Mr.Mhite said no.
- They spent two days happily with no backlash and Mrs.White never felt sad. Mr.White started to think about his second and third wish. Life was perfect.
- There son fell into the pool that day and he did not make it. He had drowned; and the family had to find out 3 hours later when they went outside to tell him it was time for dinner. His mom had cooked his favorite.

- Mrs.White could not understand why her husband was so sad. She was happy so why wasn't he? His life was now full of sorrow and she did not know why or how to fix it.
- Mr.White could not take it anymore and decided to use a wish. He went to the the kitchen to grab the paw and make a wish as he cried. He wished that his wife would not be happy anymore, but this brought her more pain than he could ever imagine.
- Three days later she went to the market and never retend. A few months after no one had seen her and she was pronounced dead to the public. Ounce they barid the empty coffin, he never left her or his sons grave again.
