- It is early morning....Hardrada's men are sleeping and are woken suddenly at the arrival of King Harold Godwinson's army.
- nooo I have betrayed Harald
- The battle starts badly for Hardrada's men. Some have left their armours several miles away.
- noo I have lost the battle
- Hardrada's men seem to be gaining control of the battle.One brave viking blocks the only bridge and kills 40 englishmen with his axe.
- yes I knew we would win.
- The Viking is killed by an englishmen spearing him from under the bridge
- By midday Hardrada is killed and Harold is in control of the battle.
- Harold wins the battle and leaves 300 survivors that flee to Norway.
