- The King has gone off his rocker! Taxes are up to 10 percent now. With the current lack of food, the idea is foolish at the least.
- Whatever will us farmers do? At this rate we'll be on the streets soon enough.
- Loyal subjects of mine! Your protests against taxation agonize me. I understand the famine going on and hence have decided to provide you with loans to help in cultivation
- But it was too late; The cultivators had run out of resources and had to abandon their lands
- Argh! Flush the cultivators with more loans and push them back to their jobs. Dig wells and whatever will assist boosted cultivation.
- Your Highness, the loans have gone too late and the farmers have abandoned their lands; the famine continues to rage with the decrease in cultivators!
