- people will start to arrive and sit down for the opening prayer or hymn that is led by the priest and then normally the people who are the baby/children/adults parents will come up and exchange a few prayers with each other and welcome everyone for being here and then the priest will speak. following a hymn (song)
- Other people will come up to give the person who is getting baptised some prayers and talk about them and give them good luck. and present them with gifts from flowers to bibles
- the person who is getting baptised will have holy water poured over their head and the priest will say some prayers to welcome the person into the Christian community
- there will be a closing prayer and hymn and then people will bless themselves and then quietly leave the church and meet up outside for a party or somthing other
- everyone says goodbye to everyone and gives their gifts to the parents and or the adult or child who got baptised and leaves saying a prayer to wish good.
