- Using the knowledge and experience gained from his ICBC driving course and 60 hours of driving, Jason passed the road test without worry.
- The restrictions for N and L drivers are mostly similar:- No alcohol or electronic devices while driving- No driving between midnight and 5 am unless accompanied by a qualified supervisor- Must have N sign displayed clearly on back of car- Only one passenger unless accompanied by a qualified supervisor or the passengers are immediate family members

- The requirements to advance to an unrestricted drivers' license from an N are:- Hold your N license for 24 months- Pay the $50 test fee- Complete the second, final road test

- Once again, Jason takes an ICBC-approved driving course to prepare for the road test and shorten the required time from 24 to 18 months.

- After two years of hard work and dedication, Jason passes his final road test and attains his Class 5 unrestricted drivers' license.
- Class 5 licenses have no specific restrictions on supervision requirements, driving hours or passenger amounts, but are still subject to impaired/distracted driving laws.
- While there are certainly less restrictions on a Class 5 license, it's important to still follow road safety guidelines and safe driving practices such as avoiding alcohol and electronic devices while driving.
