- Can you imagine what will happen if there is no friction in our life?
- I can't believe a world without friction.
- If there is no friction, then most of the tasks such as walking on the road, writing on a board, sliding off the table etc. would become difficult.
- Yes! Friction plays a very important role in our life. Many our daily activities depends on the presence of frictional force.
- It is possible to make a car move on the road because of friction. If there were no friction, the car would have slipped.
- If friction suddenly vanishes then, we will not be able to write on paper, blackboard etc.
- Do you know it is friction which enables us to hold things like earthen pot, paper glass etc. safely in our hands?#160;#160;
- Yes...imagine everything hurtling down hills and mountains if there were no friction.
- We would not be able to fix a nail / screw on the wall / wood, or tie a knot, or light a matchstick, had there been no friction between the surfaces.
- In a friction less world, more objects would be sliding about, clothes and shoes would be difficult to keep on.
- You might have noticed that your hands feel warm when you rub them together for a few seconds? It is due to friction only.
- Yes... friction is a necessary evil without which human life can't exist.#160;
