- Malala is shot on the bus by the Taliban, along with 2 other girls. She did not even realize she had been shot at the time. However, the shooter was not even arrested, altough the bus driver was. Malala did not like this, since they were locking up innocent people,
- Who is Malala?
- BANG BANG!
- When she finally woke up in the hospital, Malala had a tube in her mouth and could not talk, so she was given a book to write her words in. The first question she asked was "where is my father?". The bullet had almost damaged her brain, and they had to remove a chunk of her skull to get the bullet. She then said, "The Taliban tried to silence me by shooting me, but instead, our voices grew stronger."
- Your dad is safe. The goverment will pay for everything, and my name is Fiona.
- Where is my father? Who are you?How will we pay for this?
- Malala survived her surgery, and went on to fight for girls education. She went to several schools and provided books and pencils for girls. She also earned several awards, Including the Nobel Prize, therefore becoming the youngest winner at age 17. She met with President Obama, and told him she did not approve of his missile strikes. She met with goverment leaders and other important people. To this very day, she is still fighting for girls rights.
