- Eckels visits the Time Safari Inc. and he noticed the sign. He goes in and asks if he could shoot a dinosaur. He meets Travis and asks if he could help him with shooting the dinosaur. Travis told him the rules then they hopped into the time machine
- climax
- Travis explains the butterfly effect to Eckels, letting him know that 1 small thing could change the future.The internal conflict was that Eckels was too scared to shoot the t-rex.The external conflict was that Eckels stepping off the path.
- Falling action
- Travis shot the dinosaur as Eckels watched in fear. He was stepped off the path as Travis shot the T-rex.
- resolution
- Travis tells Eckels to take the bullets out the T-rex. As Eckels removes the bullets, he accidentally kills a golden butterfly. Eckels think that this is fine and thinks that nothing will happen if he kills this small butterfly.
- When Eckels and Travis came back to the Safari, they noticed that the letters on the sign changed. Also that the president winner is different from when they were here. Turns out that killing that butterfly, did change the future.
- In the end, Travis killed Eckels because he did not follow the important rules of not killing anything because it might change the future. The End.
