- Martin is afraid of elevators so he takes the stairs but his father insults him so he decides to use the elevator
- Falling action
- Martin meets an unsettling old woman. She keeps appearing frightening Martin,he runs down the stair well to escape and broke his leg.
- Falling action
- Martin the next day gets into the elevator and the old lady is there she finally speaks and says hello to Martin as she stops the elevator.
- Resolution
- Martin waits for the worst to happen but the lady is gone. Martin thought it was all over but the elevator drops, Martin is thrown to the wall and is heavily injured but moments later the elevator stops on his floor where his apartment is.
- Martin searches his apartment for his father but he is gone. Martin decides to lay on his bed and rest his injured body but sees the lady in a mirror then the lights go out and he felt a deep pain then loses consciousness.
- Martin wakes up to see a room not like the first. It was a dream Martin calms down and opens his door to see his mother cooking then hands him a pill to help for a condition that makes Martin have extremely violent and scary dreams.
