- " 'Ah!' he cried as he entered, in a tone that sounded as if he were at once furious and glad, Gregor turned his head away from the door and lifted it towards his father" (Kafka 35). 
- AH!
- "He probably did not know himself what he had in mind; still he lifted his feet unusually high off the floor, and and Gregor staggered at the gigantic size of the soles of his boots"(Kafka 36).
