- In A baseball game I come up to bat. In my at-bat I hit a ball that hits the wall in centerfield. I know that the wall is 360 feet from home and that the fence is 15 feet tall. At what angle was the ball hit.
- After doing some math it turns out I hit the ball at the angle of 2.38 degrees.

- In the next at bat I hit another ball to center this time it hits the top of a tree behind centerfield. The tree is 25 feet tall and the ball I hit was at a 3.5 degree angle. How far did I hit the ball.
- After doing some trig it turns out that the ball was hit 409.5 feet.

- The flagpole pole turned out to be 326.82 feet from home plate.
