- Android OS is owned by Google (and is based off of Linux!), and is the most most popular OS for smartphones and tablets. It works well with Google products (i.e. Gmail). May experience frequent advertisement for revenue.
- Linux is an open-source software that can be used/modified free from cost. Very few PCs run on Linux OS, but it is the underlying OS for gaming consoles. It has solid security and is less susceptible to viruses. It takes time and dedication to properly use.
- MacOS (MacIntosh) is owned by Apple and has a reputation for being easy to use; this OS is found in a variety of devices. This OS is the industry standard for visual editing and media. It is known for a user-friendly interface and intuitiveness.
- Windows is owned by Microsoft and is currently the most popular OS for PCs. Windows 11 is now the latest version. Because of its popularity, especially with businesses and governments, it is more likely to fall victim to viruses.
