- George Best was born on May 22,1946, in belfast , Northern island . George best grew up pretty poor and he really liked to play soccer so when he was at the age to play soccer he started and he was really good. And when he was In highschool he got recognized by Manchester United. And He eventually tried out and got the spot . So then He started to get money for the sport he Loved.

- So when best made it to the professional soccer league he was 15 year old but he couldn't start yet because he was still a boy. So two years later Best Made His Soccer Debut and he a big sensation for Manchester United and he ended up helping Manchester United to their second league title. After that he did it again he led them again so then his contract was raised. In 1968 He was named European footballer of the year.

- So when George Best was playing soccer and having the time of his life something bad happened. He injured his knee and he injured it pretty bad so He couldn't play soccer and after that George Best started drinking a lot. So I think he got depressed and he tried to drink his stress away but It didn't help at all so when George Best tried to get surgery on his twisted knee his body wasn't strong enough so he ended up dying because of the drinking, 1946-2005
