- Today you will need: -Notebook -Pencil-Ant Behavior Observation worksheet
- I have a fun activity planned for you today. Today we will take a trip outdoors and observe the behavior of some hard working creatures; ants!

- Glad you asked! Today you will be working in groups.
- Objective: Students will investigate ant behaviors and their purpose in survival.
- Will we be working on our own, or can we work in groups?
- Did you guys notice how their little antennae move?
- How do you guys think ants are able to communicate?
- Well, they don't make any sounds, but they do seem to follow each other in a neat line.
- Ants move their antennae a lot
- What observations were you guys able to make?
- Ants move very organized!
- Today you guys successfully identified behaviors performed by ants in order to survive in their natural habitats.
- The most amazing part of it all is that, even though we are different creatures, we have our own set of behaviors we must follow in order to survive.
