After one of the murderers informs Macbeth that Banquo was killed, he sees Banquo's ghost and gets scared. This is important because it shows that he doesn't enjoy killing even though he keeps doing it.

Why would you three tell Macbeth about his future, and you did it without me! You have helped this man behave like a spoiled brat, of course I am mad at you all.
Hecate is mad at the three witches for telling Macbeth what his future is because Macbeth is acting childish and selfish. This is important because it shows that Macbeth wasn't supposed to know about becoming king and thane. It also shows that the witches can not be trusted.

Poor Macbeth! All of the people who are bothering keep dying! He has handled all these deaths so well! It's almost like he is the one killing them!
I know! Macduff is hoping to come back and restore peace to his people. Macbeth heard about this and is now preparing for war.
Lennox is suspicious of the deaths and is beginning to believe that Macbeth is the one who is killing all of these people. He sarcastically talks to a Lord about how well Macbeth is handling all of the deaths. This is important because it is the first sign that there is doubt about who actually killed everyone.
