- Late Night Fall
- Wow! This is a great Mansion
- Hunting and Heads
- In this scene it is dark outside, and you can see that someone was falling. The person's name is Rainsford. He was falling off the boat because he went to grab his pipe that he dropped. I think that this is the exposition because it is where evey thing starts to happen. If he did not fall off the boat then none of the other parts of the story would happen.
- The Hunt
- As you can see; Rainsford was standing in front of a very nice mansion. This is important because after Rainsford falls off the boat this is where he ends up. In my opinion this was the first rising action because it leads into the next part of the story, but it is also important because it showed that Rainsford made it out of water and to "safety".
- The Jump to Confront
- I can't wait to get back to Genral Zaroff's place and confront him!
- "Yes, you are right I do hunt humans. Animals started to bore me, so I wanted to hunt something that could reason. Would you like to see my heads?" General Zaroff asks Rainsford. In this part of the story Ransford found out that Zaroff hunted humans. The next crazy thing was Zaroff challenged Raisford. So, he was going to hunt Rainsford. This is the second rising action because this scene, in my opinion, made the climax happen because if you don't have this then then the climax would not have happen.
- Best Bed Ever
- Why was Rainsford hiding behind a bush you ask. Well, if you don't rememeber the man holding the gun was General Zaroff. This was when he was hunting Rainsford. Rainsford set up three traps to try to kill Zaroff. The fist only hurt him, the second killed one of his hunting dogs, and the third killed his bodygaurd. I think the hunt was the climax because it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It also was what the whole story was about.
- In this scene it is a little confusing. What I am trying to show you is that Rainsford jumped off the clif to swim back to Zaroff's place. He wanted to get back because he needed to confront him. He could have just killed him at any time, but he decided that he needed to play fair. I think this is the falling action because this is the second to last event to happen.
- The dog has a bone because Rainsford fed Zaroff to the dogs, and so that is one of his bones! Also because Rainsford beat him, and the last few words of the book he said something about getting to sleep on the most comfortable bed. This is the resolution because it is the end of the book.
