  • HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR PLAN GOING FORWARD?
  • Check-ins are welcomed through the peer-to-peer guidance along with website interaction The website will have access to resources as well as a tool similar to Google Docs to house all important documents associated with transition as well as working document such as resumes
  • Pre-Counseling 6 months before This will not only be the initial counseling and pre-work to prepare for the program
  • Initial Interview: this will consist of personal understanding for the mentor to teach, guide and educate the veteran.
  • Goal Setting
  • At this point the mentor will change to a peer-to peer mentor, someone who has gone through the process and will be able to assistalong the way after the program. Up to 6 months after
  • Classroom Instruction (TRS)
  • THE VETERANS PROCESS
  • Mentoring/Adjustments
  • Develop a Plan
  • AFTER PERSONAL COACHING AND MENTORING THE VETERAN WILL THEN BE ABLE TO CREATE REALISTIC GOALS ALONG WITH THE GUIDANCE OF THEIR MENTOR. THIS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE FOR SPOUSES
  • CLASS WILL BE 4 WEEKS THE CURRICULM WILL BE SIMILAR TO CURRENT PROGRAM WITH MORE TIME FOCUSED ON SUBJECT TO ENABLE STUDENTS TO RETAIN THE INFORMATION.
  • Mentoring will be a ongoing process throughout the program, this is for them to be able to alter the plan as they go.
  • After initial interview and goal setting the Veteran will be able to develop a detailed plan along with his/her goals of what the takeaways from the course should be.
