- Melanie, get out of there!
- Melanie is stuck in a locked room with a teaching robot and she can't consentrate on the robot. She is thinking about flamingo's.

- when the last flamingo died, we thought people ought to see what they looked like. So we put that fake one in the lake.
- Melanies parents half promised her that they would take her to the natural park. Her father is worried that she will go to the park and never want to go back home.

- Melanies parents flew her to the natural park. When the care taker and her dad started talking, she took off running. She ran as fast as a cheetah.(simile). She found a lake with a flamingo in it. She gets close to it and relises its not real and pushes it over. She started to cry because her favorite animal is extinnct.
- conflict
- Character Vs. fateCharacter Vs. society
- The care taker and Melanies father were taking on the shore line of the lake so they could talk withough Melanie hearing. They went on to speak about the last flamingo going extinct and how they put up a fake to fool visators. Melanie ended up using her elaphant ear to hear the conversation.(metaphor).
- Melanie heard everything that the care taker was saying about the flamingos going extinct. Instead of Melanie riping apart the sign because of anger, she simply stood it back up. She showed a lot of maturaty in this moment.
