In a hot night the only house who do not have air conditioning is the 14 at Oak street. They don't have it because they are aliens and they used to live in hotter temperature.

While the Jackson family is dining, JB starts talking about the neighborhood alien family. He says what rough and his parents scold him.

like every night Sarai visits Max in his garden. While talking about the more and the less, Sarai receives a link to a video that said "aliens monster attack", she opens it and she is shocked so goes immediately home.

When she gets home, there’s a blackout, so the whole neighborhood goes out to find out what happened. They all gather to look at 14 Oak Street, the aliens' home since they haven’t lost the light.

“Come outside, Alien!”
“We gotta go up to that house right now and get some answers, for allwe know, they caused this themselves. I’ve got a buddy who told me that blackouts have beenhappening all across the country around these types of houses in the last couple days. I’m telling you,they’re planning an attack."
Max goes out and invites his neighbors to enter his house in the cool until the light returns, but they refuse except for the Jackson family who enters. While they’re inside, they hear screams and see the crowd holding torches.

As Max does not come out, Edgard throws the torch over the fence and the others do the same thing causing a fire. So Max pulls everyone out the back door of the house all the way to a hill, before the house caught fire. Despite that situation, Max feels finally at home.
