- these are people that have been shackled there intire lives.
- one of the men has escaped and found out the truth
- when the man left he went outside and he couldn't see clear from the sun
- the man discovers the truth about the world
- the man goes back in the cave because he wants to show the other people about outside of the cave, but when he walks in he can't see
- the people beat him up because he is saying that it is so amazing and he wants to free them, but they don't want to because they think that the outside made him blind.
