Migrating to the city

- I think it’s time you guys move to the city.
- I’ve been thinking so too Gran!I haven’t been able to find work here because of the lack of job opportunities. I’ve barely been able to pay Kate’s school fees.
- Our school has been destroyed so many times because of natural disasters like landslides and tornados; at this rate I won’t even have a school Dad can pay fees towards.
- I know it’s really getting out of hand and I can’t allow you to forfeit a proper education otherwise it’ll stunt you in life.
- Right! I do know that we wouldn’t have to worry about withering plants in the city.
- To add to our conundrum the crops have started withering because they haven’t been watered due to the constant droughts. You realise that’s our food supply gone right?
- You guys better leave now; the sooner the better.

- Wow! The city is so big and not to mention busy. I wonder if I’ll ever get use to it.
- Well we’re here! The chances of me finding a job are way higher here than in our rural area meaning I’ll finally be able to provide stability for the both of us.
- The school here is beautiful. I’ll finally be able to get a proper education!
- The school is beautiful; I just hope it’s not too expensive.
- The city is great but I’m definitely going to miss Gran.
- Speaking of natural disasters, the buildings in the city are much more stronger meaning we don’t have to worry about being affected badly by tornadoes or snowstorms. We’re safer here.
