- The nurse told Juliet she would be gone for 30 minutes and she has been gone for 3 hours.

- Juliet is impatient because she wants to hear the news from the nurse but she doesn't tell her because she is "out of breath".
- The nurse tells Juliet that Romeo is not right for her and he wants to know where her mother is.

- Friar warns Romeo to not let his passions run away with him and gives him advice on Juliet.
- Juliet enters and the lovers greet each other.
- Friar tells them to follow him so they can perform the marriage ceremony.
