- This is Galileo Galilei he was an Italian scientist, built on stories of astronomy. Galileo built his own telescope in 1609 and use it study heavens.
- In 1610 he published a small book called "Starry Messenger", which described his astonishing observations. He announced that Jupiter had four moons and that the sun had dark spots.
- In 1632 Galileo published "Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World System". This book presented the ideas of both Copernicus and Ptolemy, but it clearly showed that Galileo supported the Copernican theory.
- Galileo developed into a new approach to science called scientific method. Scientific method is a logical gathering and testing ideas.
- Scientific method emphasizes two different types of thinking deductive and inductive reasoning. Using deductive reasoning, scientists start with a theory and test the theory with experiments and observations. for patterns and experiments they used inductive reasoning.
