- I'll tell you some very important guidelines that you must always follow before any earthquakes occur:1. Stock your home with a fire extinguisher, a first-aid kit, a battery-powered radio, a flashlight, and extra batteries.2. Learn basic first aid.3. Know how to turn off the gas, water, and electricity.4. Plan where you will meet your family after an earthquake.5. Never leave anything heavy on a shelf.6. Become familiar with the earthquake plan at your school or company.

- The earth is shaking! AAHH! The earthquake has arrived! Run!

- In cases like these, you must constantly "STAY CALM" or you may be seriously injured.
- DURING AN EARTHQUAKE
- During an earthquake, remember to "STAY CALM," and if you are inside, stand against a wall in the center of the structure, stand in a doorway, or burrow beneath heavy furniture. Keep your distance from windows and doors.
