Two friends went to the park today. They observe different plants. And they want to do an experiment The purpose was can plants grow better with more light or water?
As they were leaving the house they decided to discuss their knowledge. Billy's prior knowledge for this experiment was that plants needed water so the plants have healthy roots. Joe's was plants need light for photosynthesis.(Billy is the one with a blue shirt and Joe is the one with the beanie)
While getting the materials they needed Billy and Joe came up with their hypothesis. Billy's hypothesis was if plants get only water then it will be able to grow better because it will get its nutrients and spread its roots. Joe's hypothesis was if the plant got only light then it would be able to grow better because it will have the ability to do photosynthesis in a few days.
When Billy and Joe found the spot they needed they got the seeds ready and they started to plant it.

After a few days, Billy and Joe went to check their plants and they realized both of them barely grew and Joe realized that each day he poured a random amount of water for his plant.

In conclusion, plants don't grow better with only water or light because it needs both. Also next time the boys do an experiment they should have more specific measurements, requirements and keep track of time.
