- There are millions of stories like Melania’s. 56% of girls and 40% of boys grades 7-12 experienced a form of sexual harassment. Unfortunately, very few speak up.
- In 2018, Melania Hidalgo shared her story of abuse at the hands of her highschool teacher. He was someone she looked up to and considered a mentor, until he got too close.

You are forcing someone to have a relationship with you and you give conditions. Maybe it is a boy. You also force him or her to have a relationship with you”-University, Male
- 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys have been sexually abused before the age of 18. As many as 93% of victims under the age of 18 know the abuser. And it’s happening right here, in our schools.
- In “more chauvinistic societies... they think ladies can be used as objects, only sexual objects” -University, Male, It is “mostly women who are majorly harassed – because they are seen as theinferior species”
