- The French Soldier and the Indian burned Mary's farm and destroyed their crops.
- Yes. I have a plan to have one of our tribe members adopt her into our tribe.
- Now that we have destroyed the little girl's farm and crops we can now go back to that little girl.
- Mary's mom shared some words of advice before she was separated with her forever.
- Be careful and not forget your English tongue. If you shall have an opportunity to get away from the Indians don't try to escape; for if you do they will find and destroy you.
- The Indians take off Mary's shoes and replace them with moccasins.
