- Aylmer was a genius and mad scientist. He drifted away from his profession for a while to marry a beautiful girl named Georgina.
- CLIMAX
- Aylmer eventually would ask Georgina if she had ever though about removing the birthmark on her face, she the quipped back "No!" Though she grew tense when she saw his serious expression and was conflicted between wanting to look like human perfection or be seen as special/different.
- FALLING ACTION
- Aylmer begins to be driven mad by the birthmark as to him is represents her flawed humanity. He has a dream that night about removing the mark with and knife and plunging down into her heart with the same blade.
- RESOLUTION
- Georgina comes to the decision that she will do whatever it takes to get the mark removed. Aylmer takes her back to the apartments where he has his laboratory.
- After much trial and error with experiments he turned his head to alchemy. He eventually came up with a supposed cure that could remove freckles/birthmarks.
- Georgina comes to the realization that Aylmer has been running some experiments without her knowing. He then brings her the potion he claims cannot fail and as the birthmark fades so does the life from her eyes.
