Sure, what is the expirement?

Hi, I have an experiment and I want you to tell me what is the independent, dependent and control variables.

Hi, remember me?

now I want to give you an expirement.

OK, so I have a white flower, I'm putting the flower into a cup with water with colors, I choose to put the flower in the water for 24 hours, after 24 hours I'm taking the flower out of the cup. and I see that the white leaves turn to colors.and then I did the same thing just for 10 hours. and when I took it out it was less colorful.

Oh, that's a great experiment, I'm saying that the independent variable is the time , the dependent variable is the color of the leaves and the control variable is the flower.

Sure, I'm ready

Ready for another expirmenet?

I wanted to see how long it takes an ice cube to melt at different temperatures. I put it in a bowl at a high temperature - hot, and it melted completely within half an hour. Then I took another cube exactly like the first one and put it in a bowl at a low temperature - cold, and it completely melted within two and a half hours.

Oh, such a great experiment, the independent variable is the temperature, the dependent variable is the time that takes to the ice cube to melt and the control variable is the ice cube.

Sure, let's hear...

It is a good experiment. I think that the independent variable is the place (sunlight or dark.) The dependent variable is how much the plans grow. And the control variable is seed and the amount of water that each plant gets.

I am going to plant 2 bean seeds. One in sunlight and the other in darkness. I will water them the same each day. And see in 5 days which one grows better.
