  • Ugg!!....no luck hunting today I hope we will have more food tomorrow..
  • I know sweetie dad will come back soon and bring us more food but right now let's try to find some berries
  • Mom!!! I am so hungry We have not eaten in days!
  • Agriculture Revolution
  • Finally we have a stable food supply!
  • Finally some of the crops are growing!
  • Now that we have domesticated the animals we don't have to hunt anymore!
  • Making Permanent Shelters
  • Mom when is the house going to be done??
  • Soon!
  • In the Paleolithic Age or the Old Stone age is where people moved place to place to look for food and lived in caves. During this time food was very hard to get since hunting was dangerous and wild edible plants were hard to find. These people were called Nomads because they traveled around for food. The Paleolithic Age was very hard to survive in since the lack of food, injures, and the lack of nutritious.
  • Establishing Communities
  • What changes do you think we need in this community??
  • During the start of the Paleolithic age people relied on hunting and wild plants but, in the start of Neolithic Age people discovered farming and domestication. Gradually, people started to learn how to farm which meant that people did't rely on gathering as much and learned how to plant seeds instead. People also learned how to domesticate animals which meant that people did not have to hunt as much because they raised animals. At this time people finally had a stable food supply and thrived.
  • Creating Specilized Jobs
  • Yay! I caught the 4th fish of the season! I love this so much!
  • I love making baskets!!
  • One of the first changes of Agriculture is building permanent homes . During the Paleolithic Age people lived in tents or caves because could not stay in one place for long and did not think of living in a permanent houses. But, since people don't have to move around that decided to build permanent homes which made communities. Having permanent shelters meant that it protected the people from things like wind and harsh weather.
  • The start of Trading
  • Want to trade 3 of my baskets for your pig ??
  • Hey! I have the obsidian you wanted do you have the flint??
  • We have Surplus of food!
  • When people started to settle down and started living in permanent homes they started to made communities. In the communities they choose things like making leaders, which would help them make important decisions and help the people out. Since people now had the time to help other people out with daily stuff people were able to get things done more efficiently.
  • Ya!
  • I am tried of working at the farm!
  • I want more Jobs!
  • Before the Neolithic Age people did not have a choice of which Job they wanted to do which made it unfair to people because some people liked farming and some people did not like it, so the community said I was time for a change. So people started to create new jobs to benefit then and make it fair and make them happier. This not just make the people happier it made life easier, the people also got really good at there job so it made the job more efficient.
  • I am so glad I get to do this job! I did not know I would like this job so much!
  • I love making and painting pottery it is way better than farming!
  • A big change in the Neolithic Times was trading. Trading helped because if you had to little of one item someone may had too much of that item so you could trade them something for it which made trading useful. Some common things that people traded were obsidian and flint. Trading not only made sure that people got the supplies they needed it also brought them in contact with people who lived far away.
