- The nomads (bedouins) live in the Syrian desert. The bedouins have everything they need! Shelter, clothing and trading material. But, they are missing one thing. Water. The desert is very dry, and the water is scarce. So, they decide to travel to the Tigris river.
- I'm not sure. I hope that nice man who told us about the jobs was right.
- So, the bedouins set out on their long, hard journey. They were hopeful because another nomad had told them about the good job opportunities near the Tigris river. Even though they were extremely dehydrated and tired, they just kept walking.
- Are we getting close? I'm so thirsty.
- When the bedouins finally reached the Tigris river, they were delighted to see all of the job opportunities. Some included working in oil industries, trade, and fishing. `
