  • The Incarnation
  • He is Jesus and he shall be the Messiahof mankind.
  • Jesus' Teachings
  • ...Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy...
  • The Crucifixion
  • Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.
  • Incarnation means that the eternal, immortal and invisible God has taken on human form and walked among us in the body of Jesus Christ.Jesus is divine but he came down here us as a man.“It is the blood that makes atonement by the life.”(Lev. 17:11)For our sins to be erased blood must be shed but an invisible spirit cannot bleed. The incarnation is the answer, God in human form.
  • The Resurrection
  • Jesus is not here; he has risen, just as he said.Go quickly andtellhis disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you .'
  • Jesus ate, slept, cried, sweated and felt temptationas we do, yet he did not sin.We know that he loves the physical formenough to take it on and therefore so should we honour our bodies. What's more, God did not just sit in Heaven telling us what to do, he joined us in our struggles, felt our feelings and suffered physical pain as we do. He was born of a woman in order todie and to live again, that we might live.“For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”(Mark 10:45)
  • The Ascension
  • And after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am.
  • At 33 1/2 Jesus was nailed to the cross and hung until his blood ran dry.His precious blood was a sin offering and its spilling was the only way to pay forall man's wrongs. This atonement shows God's practical side. Someone had to pay for our sin and God sent Jesus to suffer unimaginable pain in our place and todie instead of us.“For Godso lovedthe world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes inhim shallnot perish but have eternal life. (John3:16)
  • Choose Eternal Life!
  • Humanity is separated from God by our sins and we cannot have a relationship with him. (Romans 6:28,Isaiah 59:2). Death is the right punishment for our sin but we no longer need to be afraid, Jesus has beaten death, he has risen again.“He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” (Romans 4:25). Now we can be united with Christ forever. The resurrection proves the scriptures to be true and that Jesus was the son of God, no one else could have overcome death. The resurrection brings hope and we know that as Jesus rose, so will we.
  • Jesus did not just disappear; he was raised up to Heaven, still in human flesh, but leaving the space-time continuum. He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. (Acts 1:9)Thus he opened a pathway for us to heaven. God vindicatedJesusafter his death and now the risen Jesus advocates for us so that when God looks on us he sees the ascended and cleansed Jesus and so God delights in us. Jesus has gone before and prepared a place for us and he will come back for us in glory.
  • Jesus offers the gifts of forgiveness, salvation and eternal life to all.We cannot earn these gifts; they depend on Christ’s sacrifice for us. Jesus said “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). To join him in Heaven we must confessour sins, ask for forgiveness and accept God’s grace. Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. (Matt 7:7)But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Matt 6:33)
