- Congratulations Nora, is there anything you'd like to say to the crowd?
- Yeah, first of all, let it be known that women should have more rights within their household. Women shouldn't have to sacrifice for the sake of the "man of the house". Even after I saved Torvald's life I shouldn't have had to live in fear of my independent actions. The confined nature of gender roles and stereotypes of women need to be broken in order to stop this kind of suffering.
- Society's norms are unhealthy and lead to the destruction of families, including my own. The pressure of society's expectation not only destroyed my life, but the lives of everyone involved. Furthermore, one's reputation shouldn't be one's only focus of life. Doing so allows for the neglect of anyone you care for. Thank you and good night.
