- This scene describes Erikson's first stage of Erikson's Stages of Psychosocial Development which is Trust vs Mistrust. In this scene, Katie tries to gain the trust by comforting Jordan when he cries. She provides affection, care, and reliability to her baby Jordan.
- AGES: 3 - 5 YEARS
- This scene depicts the third stage of Erikson's Stages of Psychosocial Development which is Initiative vs Guilt. This is when children begin to control the environment and do certain tasks by themselves. In this scene, Jordan tries to start a game of tag with his classmates.

- Mom! I won this big pencil after passing my test!
- This scene narrates the fourth stage of Erikson's Stages of Psychosocial Development which is Industry vs Inferiority. In this stage, children experience pleasure by their accomplishments and affection from peers. Katie recognizes and praises Jordan for passing his test.
