- "I knew Uncle would let me have you as my chambermaid"!
- *Whispers* Good boy."
- Hannah right now is working for Miss Lydia. Her first task is to prepare a meal for the guests and General Gage for a grand party, even Phillis Wheatley a famous poet came. She experience her first time there as she set folded the napkins for and place the utensils before the guests and General Gage arrived. She also experience going out there and serving the food to the guest with her soon to be very good friend, Catherine who is much older than Hannah.
- After Hannah realized how terrible it is to work for Miss Lydia. But then Meg, the girl who guide Hannah her way to the kitchen, pleaded that she can have Hannah as her chambermaid, and of course General Gage said yes but Mrs. Gage was concern about it because Meg always get her way since she is one of the memeber of the Gage family. But since working for Miss Lydia seems much more terrible, she accepts to be Meg chambermaid.
- Will came to Boston and with Hannah beloved horse, Promise . When they were riding they met Hannah who was calling out Promise name. Why was she out there? Because Meg told her that they are going to to the Common to have their picnic there together alone, but eventually met with one of General Gage solider that Hannah saw Meg flirting with at the dinner party. Since Will has nowhere to satay, he stayed in the stable with Caleb where Hannah met up with them to dress up as a boy and go ride Promise around.
