His First Flight
Storyboard Text
- The young seagull was alone on his ledge. His two brothers and sister had already flown away the day before.
- I'm sure my wings will not support me enough to fly
- The seagull hadn't eaten and was hungry. He pretended to fall asleep hoping someone will take notice of him. Only his mother did.
- Gaw-col-ah
- Ga, ga, ga
- I hope mother brings me food
- She finally agreed and flew over to him. But when she was just opposite to him, she halted. Unable to bear his hunger any longer the young seagull lunged for the fish and fell down towards the vast sea.
- AHHHH!!!
- But the fear lasted only a minute. The seagull felt his wings spread outward. He was not falling headlong now, he was soaring gradually downwards and outward.
- WOOHOO!!!
- He had conquered his fear and his whole family was proud of him.
