- The one on the left is Aamira and this is her family, her mom is the one in the middle and the one on the right is her sister Allia, her and her sister are 17 years old. The house behind them is their home, she and her family were pretty poor. Aamira and Allia both can't go to school, so instead, they have to walk to a pond for hours every day, back and forth to get water, This was their life before the Southern Sudan War happened.
- That afternoon Aamira and Allia had to go to the pond to get water, but while they were filling up their bottles they started to hear people screaming, see people running and houses that were next to the pond were on fire.
- "Aamira we're going to have to run."
- When they started to run the people who were invading their home were shooting at them and at the other people who were also trying to run away from the started war.
- A little bit after they got away from the war, they see a group of people walking and Aamira asks them a question to see if they can help.
- "Yes, of course the group said. We're walking towards the Kakuma refugee camp."
- . "Can we join your guys group to follow? We don't know where we are or where to go."
