- My cousin was often at our house and that day I was wearing a ring my grandma let me borrow that week . My cousin saw it and said we should play hide and seek with my ring, so basically one of use hid the ring and the other one had to go find it it. So I stupidly agreed to do it we played a couple rounds and nothing happened to my ring.
- So there was a small area with grass, and we both agreed to close our eyes and throw the ring there and go find it. ps. the grass was tall and hard to look for a small object like that. So i threw and we went to go look for it and obviously we did not find it. And I was not going to tell my mom nor my grandma. So we decided to keep it a secret and wait until they told us were it was at. But we did not think what we were going to say when they found out that we had lost the ring.
- Like 4 days after we had a family reunion, and you know who was here. Yup my grandma we were nervously hopping she didn't ask me if she can have the ring back that she had let me borrow, but what was I thinking she did ask me, and of course she had to do it infront of my mom. I tried to explain to them we were just having fun and that definitely did not work.
- Our grandma tried to explain to us that, that ring was very valuable for her. So my small capacity brain told her then why did she let me borrow it. I know that is not how you talk to anyone but I was frustrated and I was 6 years old. So my mom and David's mom dragged (exaggerating) us outside to find that ring they told us we whould not go inside until we found that damn ring. And I was so mad that I stupidly suggested we not find it on purpose, so we also stupidly did that. I was night already and we had not 'found' the ring
- I think I had some kind of guilt in me because, in the night I apparently woke up and when outside to look for the ring, and I could not find it so I went inside and my mom heard the door open so she went and saw what it was, and she saw me. I told her what I was doing outside and she scolded me that I should not do that. So I went back to sleep. The next day I went to school and when I came back I saw my grandma happy, beacsue she had the ring! I did not find it was my mom
- I told her I was sorry that I lost it, and she accepted my apology, so I asked her if I could us her ring, and she said No. Since I had very sensible feelings I started crying, but that did not work, so my grandma never let me borrow her jewelry. And she still has her ring, I mean what was I thinking about doing that, I am just glad my mom found it if not who knows what would have happened.
