- Introduction to Mohenjo-Daro
- I just got back from an Indus River fishing trip
- What does B.C. stand for?
- The Rich and the poor live apart here in the grid shaped streets of Mohenjo-Daro. It is about 3000 B.C. now.
- We live near the Indus River, and Mohenjo-Daro is one of the largest cities.
- Welcome to Mohenjo-Daro

- My workshop is inside the house, right by the shower room.
- Our house is made from kiln baked bricks, but it gets quite warm inside so we enjoy time on the roof.

- My brother is using the shower tray, which is connected to the city's drainage system. He dumps that bucket of water over his head to wash himself.

- His soul needs spiritual cleansing before he goes into the afterlife.
- I bathe here each morning to purify my mind. So does basically everyone else on the Indus River.

- This is a seal. It it used to show ownership or the price of items.
- Distant Trade and Trade Products
- We trade everything from seashells to gold and silver.
- We have to travel a long way just to trade for the resources we need.
