- Im the south and we need slaves for our economy! Slaves provide work and help us in congress with population=representation. Congress is trying to pass laws to make slavery go away but they don't understand its most of our economy!
- That's not true look at the compromise of 1850! Look at the Fugitive slave act! Congress is on your side.
- Im the north and I think the south shouldn't be able to have slaves. Slavery should be illegal and every state should be a free state. We support the Wilmot Proviso.
- There inst many women in the south because most indentured servants are males, i get men asking to marry me all the time because of the lack of women in the south. But all my husbands end up dying because the lack of modern medicine

- Im a baptist and i think slaves should be free men because they follow Christianity and they meet with us at the chruch.
- Im also a baptist but i think slaves shouldn't be free I just think they should be treated a little more humane because the Bibal justifies slavery.
