- We have to come up with definitions for act and rule utilitarianism and highlight there differences.
- Hey Alastair, what did Mr. Flat say the homework was this weekend?
- Can you explain again what act utilitarianism is?
- Act Utilitarism is when someone believes that actions should be made by which outcome will create the most good.
- Lets say I am playing basketball and the other team has a fastbreak and can tie the game.
- As an act utilitarian I would get my 5th foul and foul out and put the bad free throw shooter on the line so my team can hold onto the W. That would have the best outcome for everyone here
