Storyboard Text

  • 5th amendment
  • The fifth amendment says you can't try me again, and I didn't give you an unfair price.
  • The defendant is not guilty of buying land for an unfair price!
  • That can't be right! I wanna put him on trial again!
  • 5th amendment
  • When will I be tried!?
  • I plead the 5th!
  • The grand jury will decide your fate, because you have been accused of murder, and the 5th gives you that right.
  • Where were you at 12:00 AM last night!
  • As soon as we can, you have the right.
  • 6th amendment
  • Why are you even here? My client has the right to an unbiased jury!
  • There's no possible way you could have committed this crime! Good luck in the trial!
  • I hate disabled people!
  • Unfortunstly, this has to be a public trial, and he can still watch even though we won't count his vote. We'll make this trial fast though!
  • The judge has delivered his verdict, however, the prosecutor wants to put the defendant on trial again. The defendant tells him he can't, and that he has given a fair price for his land.
  • 6th amendment
  • How am I supposed to do well in my trial if I can't afford a lawyer!
  • Police officer tries to enteragate lady without lawyer present. Lady uses 5th amendment. The police officer tells the lady she will be judged by a grand jury because she is being tried for murder. Lady asks when the trial is, officer tells her soon because of the 5th amendment.
  • Trial is about to start, and things are looking good for the defendant, but someone in the jury is biased against the blind man. The lawyer then questions why that rude man is there because of the 6th amendment. Judge tells lawyer his vote doesn't count, but he is still alowed to watch. Then reasures him the trial will be fast because of the 6th.
  • Person has been locked up and can't afford a lawyer, so the police officer tells her that one will be appointed to her. She wants to know who accused her what she was accused of, and if everyone will know when and where. The police officer confirms the sixth gives her the rights to know the answers to those first two quesions, and the right to call somone to help vouge for you, and says yes to the third question.
  • Yes, you can. That also comes with the 6th.
  • You'll know those first to in a little bit ma'am, and the answer to your third is yes. Those are all rights provided by the 6th amendment.
  • If you can't afford one, one will be appointed to you.
  • Can I call somone to vouge for me?
  • Who accused me? What am I here for? Will everyone know what I was acused of and where?
