- In 1942 a remote Catholic orphanage located in Poland had a young boy named Felix who finds a whole carrot in his soup. Since the Catholic orphanage didn’t get many vegetables Felix thought his parents were coming to get him and that it was a message his parents were trying to tell him through the carrot. Felix's parents about 4 years ago at the Catholic orphanage this was because his parents had to look after their bookselling business. Felix is worried that his p`arents won’t recognise him once they arrive to get Felix.
- CLIMAX
- A car arrives at the orphanage the next morning. It turns out to be men in armbands but Felix was hoping it was his parents. The men in armbands are Nazis who discovered that she was hiding Jewish books, explained mother Minka, but thankfully they hadn’t discovered that Felix was Jewish. Felix is worried for his bookseller parents and resolves to find his parents and tell them about the Nazis.
- RESOLUTION
- On his wa On his way to the city, Felix comes across a burning house. Then he notices Zelda, an unconscious small girl. However, they are discovered by a Nazi and forced to walk to the city with other Jews. A man named Barney saves Felix and Zelda and leads them to a subterranean cellar where other youngsters are hiding. Later, the other youngsters tell Felix that they are hiding from the Nazis because the Nazis despise all Jews. Felix discovers that his parents conspired with Mother Minka to make him appear Catholic in order to save his life. While hiding in the cellar, Felix tells stories, helps dentist Barney with his job, and learns that his parents are most likely dead. When Zelda achieves.
- FALLING ACTION
- Nazis as Felix returns to it. He hurries to join the other kids when he hears them shouting. At a train station, where additional Nazis are herding Jewish victims into a train, the Nazis march Barney, Felix carrying Zelda, and the other kids. By telling the Nazis that Zelda's father was a collaborator with the Nazis, Felix and Barney attempt to save her. Barney and Felix are hurled onto the railway. Zelda, on the other hand, bites the Nazi holding her and won't be separated from Felix, so she is also tossed onto the train. Nazis are hammering the railway cars' doors shut, Felix hears.
