Romulus and Remus

- Romulus and Remus were the sons of the God Mars, and the mother of Rhea Silvia.
- Their great uncle has his servant drift the babies out on the Tiber River
- A she-wolf found Romulus and Remus and raised them, until a farmer found them and raised them with his wife
- The boys grew up on the farm. They defeated their great uncle in battle, and decided to create their own city.
- However, Romulus wanted the city to be named Rome. Remus thought that his city should be Remo. In an argument, Remus was killed by his twin brother.
- Romulus named his city Rome and became the first ruler the Roman Empire ever had.
