  • In the Article "This Is What Black Burnout Feels Like" by Tiana Clark. Tiana Clark explains her own point of view of being "Black Burnout" and how it's completely different than any other burnout in society.
  • This article works great for my paper because its Tiana's story that has a lot of good information that can be used for inequality toward black women, and a point of view of what it would be like now rather than forever ago.
  • In this Scholarly Journal, "Building Alternative Feminist Economic Futures: WHEELS" by Melissa S. Fisher. WHEELS stands for Women's Hands Establishing Entrepreneurial Leadership Skills. In the article Melissa Fisher goes into detail about the severe impact of the recession on women of color.
  • This journal works perfectly for the paper because this is a group that is there for the black women community.
  • In the Article "When Black Women Go From Office Pet to Office Threat" by Zora's Erika Stallings. Stallings Explains through her first hand account of the work phenomenon that has been cultivated to black women called "Pet to Threat".
  • This source is used to explain the different racism that goes on in a work environment
  • In the Article "Black Women and State Sanctioned Violence: A History of Victimization and Exclusion" by Breea C. Willingham outright speaks of the oppression black women face in society throughout history and present time specifically pertaining to state-sanctioned laws and police brutality.
  • This source is used perfectly with plenty of examples of what use to happen to the black community, and what still happens to this day.
  • In this Scholarly Journal "Vanguard: How Black Women Broke Barriers, Won the Vote, and Insisted on Equality for All" by Shirley J. Yee. Shirley J. Yee explains, Vanguard is used to trace the history of political work among Black women in the United States.
  • This article works with my paper because it gives detailed descriptions of how hard black women over the ages worked to be heard, but also shows how hard they are currently working.
  • It is important to bring awareness to racism towards African Americansmore importantly to future generations. We cannot change the past butwithout learning from our mistakes we will be doomed to repeat themand that is evident with both articles. For far too long African Americanwomen have been segregated despite the ambitions and goals that theyare willing to amount to.
