- Soldiers Quarters
- It was used as winter quarters for General George Washington's continental army. Their supplies were usually scarce but available so they had to make do with what they got.
- Problems Faced by the Soldiers #1
- The house that George Washington was staying at was a rental. A woman named Debrah Hewes rented the house to the general and his military family along with some furniture.

- There were about 2,000 wooden huts that fit between 12,000-14,000 soldiers during the cold 6 months of the camp.

- They had limited supplies for the first few months so some men had limited clothing while others were in full uniform. they also did not have much food so they would go hungry but none of them died from starvation
- The soldiers had a rough time building their huts because they did not have many supplies and the huts took about a week to build
- he did not speak any English so he had to have an interpreter but that did not stop him from being a great trainer. Baron also improved the sanitation of the camp, Barons effort towards the army and General Washington impressed General so much that Congress appointed him inspector general for the army.
